Many Tamil school students are consistently pushing boundaries and achieving remarkable success, not only in academics but also in sports, innovation, and various competitions. From school-level participation to international recognition, their accomplishments are a testament to their dedication and talent. In this spirit of excellence, a student from SJKT Jenjarom has made a mark by excelling in the Kuala Langat district-level cross-country competition 2025.
The competition was held at SK Kampong Endah on 17th April 2025. After 11 years, SJKT Jenjarom triumphed as the overall champion, proudly bringing home the prestigious challenge trophy. In the Girls’ Individual Category, Lakshana Raegan delivered an outstanding performance by securing 1st place and earning selection for the state-level competition. Thishalini Vijayan followed with an impressive 9th place, while Tanisha Kumaran claimed 12th place. Renu Sri Siva finished in 23rd place, Keerthana Suresh in 40th, and Kavya Loganathan secured the 154th position. Each participant showcased commendable effort and determination, contributing to the school’s overall success.
In the Boys’ Individual Category, Paventhan Vasanthan secured 10th place with a strong performance, followed by Sai Nithin Roy Alagesan in 17th place and Siddharth Sivalingam in 20th. Pavikshan Thamodaran achieved 40th place, while Sharvin Ravindran and Keerthigan Prabhakaran placed 70th and 156th respectively. All participants demonstrated great effort and perseverance, contributing to the team’s overall achievement.
Furthermore, the girls’ team clinched 1st place in the group category, while the boys’ team secured an impressive 3rd place. “These remarkable accomplishments contributed to our school being crowned the overall champion,” said the Headmaster, Mr. Ramasamy Nadesan PBB, as he expressed his heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to all the students for their exceptional achievements.
Meanwhile, the Headmaster, Mr. Ramasamy Nadesan PBB, extended his heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to the Assistant Headmaster, Mr. M. Sudhakar, for his unwavering support in this achievement. He also commended the dedicated efforts of the teachers who trained the students—Mr. M. Prabhakaran and Mr. C. Surendran—and acknowledged the valuable assistance provided by Mrs. S. Manonmangalam and Mrs. M. Sundari. Furthermore, he expressed his sincere appreciation to the President of the Parent-Teacher Association, Mr. M. Murugu Saravanan, the PTA committee members, and the parents who continuously supported the students’ training and preparation.
