The construction of the new SJK (T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4 has reached another significant milestone after receiving a RM2 million contribution from the Federal Government, bringing the school one step closer to its long-awaited new campus.
The contribution follows a successful fundraising dinner held ten days ago, where the school raised RM9 million to support the construction of its new building on the six-acre land provided by the Negeri Sembilan State Government.
RM2 Million Contribution Officialy Handed Over
During the fundraising dinner, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would contribute RM2 million towards the construction of the new school building. Ten days after the announcement, Anthony Loke visited SJK (T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4 in behalf of the Prime Minister to officially hand over the RM2 million contribution.
He also presented a confirmation letter verifying that the RM2 million had been credited into the school’s Lembaga Pengelola Sekolah (LPS) bank account, fulfilling the commitment made during the fundraising event.
Construction to Continue
With the RM9 million raised through public contributions and the RM2 million allocation from the Prime Minister now secured, the school is set to move forward with the next phase of construction for its new campus.
The latest funding marks another important step in ensuring the project progresses as planned, providing the school’s students with a modern and better-equipped learning environment in the future.
Earlier in May 2026, SJK (T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4 received a six-acre land from the Negeri Sembilan State Government for the development of its new school under the Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) project. Around the same period, Matrix Concepts also announced that it would fund half of the first phase of the school’s development, further strengthening efforts to make the new campus a reality.
