With more than 55,000 followers on Instagram, Aishu is undoubtedly one of the leading make up artists in Malaysia. In conjunction with Pride Month, she has released a gorgeous makeup video that speaks volumes about the beauty of transgender women.
While it is heartbreaking to see the nasty names the scum of society has abused her with, it is heartwarming to see her push through that in the video, and in real life. Aishu’s Pride Month tribute has amassed over 32,000 views and 3,272 likes on Instagram.

People around the world face violence and inequality, sometimes torture, even execution because of who they love, how they look, or who they are. Sexual orientation and gender identity are integral aspects of our selves and should never lead to discrimination or abuse. Today I represent my family which inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgenders. They are equal as an living object or human in the universe, therefore i would love to dedicate my effort to inspire others via my makeup with light Blue colour for boys and pink for girls while the white for those who are transitioning. 🌸 🌸 I wish that this effort of mine would at least make someone will have courage to stop abuses based on sexual orientation and gender identity worldwide, including torture, killing and executions, arrests under unjust laws, unequal treatment, censorship, medical abuses, discrimination in health and jobs and housing, domestic violence, abuses against children, and denial of family rights and especially recognition because i am one of an living example here today. 🌈 . . .
