In the hearts of Thalapathy fans, this film has always been one of their all-time favourites. In this action thriller directed by Dharani, Vijay plays the role of a  kabbadi player. This excellent entertainer starred alongside Trisha and Prakash Raj, who is most known for his role as “Muthupandi” and phrase “Hi Chellam”. Vijay, with his enthusiastic performance, really stole the stage.

Nobody will ever forget army commander “Jagtish” and the specific scene of the sleeper cells execution! This film was a smash hit for Vijay and Murugadoss, and Thalapathy’s decision to make a comeback in a different role was the smartest decision he ever made. Vijay plays a dedicated army officer who went for a holiday, but instead set out on a mission to preserve his country. Vijay’s romance, comedy, and action in the film warms our hearts.

This is one of a film in which Thalapathy has a massive fab following, especially for his iconic punchline “oru thadava mudivu panta en pecha nane kekka maaten”, which we all utter at some point in our lives. This film graced us with Vijay’s humour, mass acting, action, and romance. Thanks to Prabhu Deva for providing a wholesome entertainer.

A remarkable film that makes you emotional.
