Karthick Naren has teamed up with Arun Vijay for his third project, Mafia. 

Tipped to be a gangster drama, the shooting of the film was completed in 35 days in a single stretch. And the latest is that Arun Vijay has completed dubbing of the film and has revealed that the film is going to be one of his best films to date.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Aravind Swami was the initial choice to play the lead role in this film but the role eventually went to Arun Vijay. The film features Prasanna in the role of an antagonist while Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in to play the leading lady. It is believed that Arun shed lot of weight for Mafia as the film will see him in different avatars.

Last seen in Magizh Thirumeni’s crime thriller Thadam, Arun Vijay has two more projects in the making. He has just wrapped up the shooting of Agni Siragugal, which also stars Vijay Antony. He also has a film called Boxer which will see him in an action-packed role. Recently  Arun signed up for a new film. Titled Sinam, the film is directed by GNR Kumaravelan, the first look for which was released on Tuesday.
