Sid Sriram has spread his voice across South Indian cinema. The 29-year-old singer who was introduced in to the industry by AR Rahman has now ventured into Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam songs.
Today, Sid Sriram announced that he is going to make his debut as a music composer for the film Vaanam Kottatum. The film is directed by Dhana Sekharan and produced by Mani Ratnam under his Madras Talkies banner.

Initially, music composer Govind Vasantha who gained popularity through the film ’96, was appointed to compose music for this film . Unfortunately, due to date issues, the producers offered the role to Sid Sriram. The film will begin shooting this month in Chennai.
Vaanam Kottatum stars Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian, Aishwarya Rajesh, Radhika and Sarathkumar.
