Malaysian YouTube sensation S. Pavithra, of the Sugu Pavithra YouTube channel, reportedly forgave her husband for domestic abuse allegations.

The 28-year-old housewife told the media this today after the incident which resulted in her husband, M. Sugu’s arrest for allegedly attacking her with a sickle on Wednesday (July 22nd). He was then arrested and charged under Section 6(1) of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offences Weapon Act 1958.

Paying for her husband’s RM10,000 bail at the Ipoh Sessions Court on Friday (July 24), the social media star said the couple would move on with their lives and continue making videos together.

“I forgive my husband… Sugu and I will be moving on with our lives and will continue our YouTube cooking channel at anytime,” said Pavithra.

Earlier today, the accused pleaded not guilty at the Ipoh Magistrate Court to the charge of unlawful possession of a 26-inch sickle in a public place. Sugu, 29, made the plea in front of judge Mohd Fauzi Mohd Nasir, when the charge was read to him in Tamil.

In a joint press conference today, the couple mentioned that that they don’t want or deserve any recognition.
