The Government will enforce the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor and Sabah in light of the continuous rise of Covid-19 cases in the country. 

The movement will be implemented at midnight (tonight), October 13th 2020 in Sabah, whereas for the other states, it would be enforced tomorrow on October 14th 2020 at midnight.



The movement order was made by the Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob highly due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in Klang, Petaling, Gombak and Hulu Langat.

He announced that, “To prevent the virus from spreading to other districts, the National Security Council (NSC) has agreed to implement the CMCO for Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya,” 

Other active business entities are permitted to conduct businesses as usual, but schools, day care, religious places of worship, parks, leisure events , social events, weddings and entertainment outlets are off-limits and are ordered to shut down operations for the time being.

Inter-district commute is only mandated with valid documentation issued by employers for work reasons.
