What a proud moment it is for us to witness Malaysian Indian women football players donning sarees for their recent photoshoot?
Indian women players from Penang Indian Football Association (PIFA) walked right into our hearts when they donned a saree for their new tournament’s photoshoot. This photoshoot has blown everyone’s mind, and not because it was part of culture but the fact that they rocked in a saree while playing footie.
What could best sum up any simple girl’s closet guide?
The beauty of a saree is complete with a nice blouse and pallu while showing a little of a lady’s back and a little tummy. The country got to see our lovely sarees with comments such as ‘how nice’, in witnessing the upcoming generation that choose the traditional garment as a way to remember their culture.
On the other hand, the entire creative photoshoot by the organiser of (PIFA) Sri UCS was pulled off by STz Makeup alongside the talented photographer from Chas_Studio. We are indeed going gaga over this photoshoot, both edgy and experimental; these women football players never failed to rock and preserve the beauty of ethnic attires effortlessly.
Check out the jaw off the floor photoshoot:
Previously seven Indian women from (PIFA) broke barriers for women in football after being qualified as referees. They have successfully passed their Class 3 FAM Examination which was held during the refereeing workshop organised by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
Kudos to the team behind this brilliant photoshoot!
