The Benefits Of Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding has several benefits for both newborns and mothers. Breast milk is a great source of nourishment for newborns, since it contains vitamins, minerals, and antibodies that assist to improve the immune system. Breastfed babies have a lower risk of developing infections, allergies, asthma, obesity, and chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes.
Breastfeeding helps postpartum recovery for mothers by reducing the risk of hemorrhaging and promoting the release of oxytocin, which aids in uterine contraction.
