Amirthaa Matiwannan Receives National Star Award for Memory Sports Excellence at Kids Got Talent Malaysia

Amirthaa Matiwannan, a 9-year-old prodigy from Penang, recently received the prestigious National Star Award at the ‘Kids Got Talent Malaysia’ event for her outstanding abilities in memory sports. This award is just one of many accolades she has received for her exceptional talents.

Amirthaa is no stranger to setting records and achieving greatness. Even at her young age, she has already secured her place in various esteemed record books. She is a proud holder of the Jackie Book of World Records, the Kalam World Records, and the International Book of Records. Additionally, she has been recognized internationally with the Kids World Record in Canada.

In addition to excelling in memory sports, Amirthaa has demonstrated her remarkable talent in various other fields. She has participated in competitions such as the Maths Olympiad, STEM challenges, piano recitals, and mental arithmetic contests, consistently showcasing her diverse abilities. Her achievements across these disciplines highlight her dedication, versatility, and passion for learning, making her a truly exceptional young talent.

The National Star Award was presented to Amirthaa by Jessica Loo, a distinguished figure who has won numerous awards both locally and internationally. Jessica Loo is a trailblazer in the music industry, known for her groundbreaking achievements, including setting a Malaysia Book of Records title as the first person to play the violin while paragliding. Receiving an award from such a talented and innovative individual was undoubtedly an inspiring moment for Amirthaa, adding to the significance of her accomplishment. The award ceremony was held at the MDMT Ballroom in Kuala Lumpur, making it a memorable occasion for all in attendance.

When asked about their feelings on witnessing their daughter’s achievements, Amirthaa’s mother, Shalini, expressed her pride and joy: “Her father and I are incredibly proud of her accomplishments. We are beyond words to describe how happy and proud we are of everything she has achieved.”

Amirthaa has made both her school and parents proud with her remarkable achievements. Her passion for continuously learning new things has helped her refine and elevate her talents to new heights. With unwavering support from her parents, she has grown into an even more accomplished individual. By receiving so many accolades at such a young age, Amirthaa serves as an inspiration to the younger generation, proving that talent knows no age.
