The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) is the leading pageant and reality TV event in the country, held annually. Established in 1962 and revamped in 2010, it was designed to offer a platform for ambitious Malaysian women to represent their nation on the international stage of Miss Universe. The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) has introduced a global voting system for Miss Universe Malaysia 2024. This groundbreaking move allows people from around the world to take part in choosing their ideal candidate for the 2024 title. This development marks a significant moment in the pageant’s history, which began in 1964.
A Revolution in Voting: Bringing the World Together
This year, MUMO has taken a bold step forward by giving the public equal power in the voting process. Voting from the public will account for 50% of the final results, which is equal to the weight of the panel judges’ votes. This ensures that the voices of the public are heard, empowering global supporters to directly influence the outcome. Voting is open from now until 6 September 2024, giving supporters ample time to cast their votes and make their voices heard.
Shaping the Future of Pageantry with Inclusivity and Innovation
Supporters’ votes will be pivotal this year, contributing up to 50% of each contestant’s final score. This equal weighting with the judges’ scores emphasizes the importance of voter participation, allowing global supporters to have a direct impact on the results. Additionally, MUMO’s choice to eliminate age and marital status restrictions for contestants underscores its dedication to inclusivity and forward-thinking innovation.
Supporters can access the voting platform via the official MUMO website (https://mumo.com.my/voting/), where they can purchase voting credits priced at RM1,000 each. Voters have the flexibility to select the number of votes for their favourite contestants.
Each vote includes an exclusive digital collectible (NFT) of the finalist voted for, serving as a unique memento of participation in this historic event.
Exclusive Gala Night Incentives: A Night to Remember
MUMO is offering special incentives for voters, making the experience even more rewarding. For votes purchased before 3 September 2024, voters will receive Gala Dinner tickets, with rewards structured as follows:
1 Vote = 1 Gala Dinner Seat at Amethyst Table
2 Votes = 2 Gala Dinner Seats at Amethyst Table
3 Votes = 2 Gala Dinner Seats at Bronze Table
5 Votes = 2 Gala Dinner Seats at Gold Table

(Note: Tickets are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
