Sai Priya Kesavan Achieves Recognition in The Malaysia Book of Records for Identifying the Most Capital Cities in Just One Minute

Sai Priya Kesavan, a remarkable five-year-old from SJKT Mahajothi Preschool, is making waves with her extraordinary talent. At such a young age, she is shattering records and capturing the attention of many. Recently, she achieved a significant milestone by securing a spot in The Malaysia Book of Records for identifying the most capital cities in just one minute.

This impressive achievement took place at the Malaysia Book of Records office located in Q Central, Kuala Lumpur, on 18th September 2024. During this record-setting attempt, Sai Priya demonstrated her remarkable talent by identifying an astounding 66 capital cities in just one minute. Her ability to recall and name so many countries in such a short time is a testament to her exceptional memory and cognitive skills.

When asked how Sai Priya developed her interest in identifying the capitals of countries, her mother, Ms. Rathana Devi, shared, “She naturally has excellent memorization skills and a strong desire to learn new things. Since she was four, she would listen intently to whatever I taught her elder brother and sister. From there, I noticed that she could easily memorize information.

Recently, she came home from school and asked her brother if he could name all of our prime ministers. Unfortunately, he couldn’t recall them all correctly, but she was able to list each one accurately according to the official list. Additionally, she can name all the capitals of the states in Malaysia.”

In addition to her remarkable achievement recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records, Sai Priya holds several other impressive records that highlight her extraordinary talent. In the Worldwide Book of Records, she has set a record for the fastest time to recite the capitals of 100 countries, accomplishing this feat in just 1 minute and 39 seconds. This exceptional ability not only showcases her memorization skills but also her ability to recall information quickly under pressure.

Furthermore, in the Kids World Records, Sai Priya has made her mark by holding the record for the fastest identification of capitals, where she successfully named 77 capitals in a remarkable time of 5 minutes. This accomplishment reflects her dedication and passion for learning about geography and world cultures.

Beyond her impressive records, Sai Priya has big dreams for the future. Her ambition is to become a doctor, showcasing her desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As she continues to break records and impress those around her, Sai Priya is undoubtedly setting the stage for a bright future filled with even more accomplishments, both in her academic pursuits and her aspirations in the medical field.

When asked how they feel about their daughter’s achievements, Sai Priya’s mother expressed, “We feel incredibly fulfilled and proud of her. This recognition serves as an inspiration for her to continue striving for even more success. It’s a wonderful reminder of the hard work, dedication, and support that contribute to her growth.”

Sai Priya’s achievements serve as an inspiration to her peers and demonstrate the incredible potential of young minds. As she continues to break records and impress those around her, Sai Priya is undoubtedly setting the stage for a bright future filled with even more accomplishments.
