After 33 years, two of Indian cinema’s biggest megastars, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, are reuniting in the Tamil film ‘Vettaiyan’. Directed by T.J. Gnanavel, renowned for ‘Jai Bhim’, and produced by Lyca Productions, the recently released trailer showcases an epic showdown between Amitabh and Rajinikanth, centered around a clash of ideologies. The film is set for a grand release on 10th October 2024.
In the 1970s and 80s, Superstar Rajinikanth appeared in several remakes of Amitabh Bachchan’s films. Later, the two megastars shared the screen in multi-starrer films.
