The decision appears to have come us a surprise to both the groups contesting.
The Nadigar Sangam elections that were set to happen this Friday has been called off by the Registrar of Societies.
This news, however, seems to have come as a surprise to both parties – Nassar-Vishal’s Pandavar Ani and Bhagyaraj-Iswari Ganesan’s Shankaradas Ani.
The Registrar has decided to peruse the matter further and decide when the elections will be held. The 61 members had complained that they were removed from the voters’ list by Pandavar Ani to skew the election results in their favour.
These members demanded to know why they were removed from the Sangam.
Vishal, Karunas and Poochi Murugan met the Tamil Nadu governor and submitted a petition underlining the problem they face in conducting the elections.
Let’s see what happens! So much drama for an election. But then again, which election doesn’t have drama!
