‘Jailer’ featured notable cameos from Mohanlal, an unforgettable appearance by Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, and Nelson Dilipkumar is keen to bring them back for the sequel. In addition, the director has crafted a special role for Dhanush in ‘Jailer 2’, and reports suggest that he has received approval from Superstar Rajinikanth to include Dhanush in the cast.
The latest reports have thrilled fans, as their long-awaited dream of seeing Superstar Rajinikanth and Dhanush share the screen is set to come true with ‘Jailer 2’. However, it remains to be seen if Dhanush can carve out time from his busy schedule to shoot for the film. It’s also worth noting that Dhanush is a devoted fan of Rajinikanth. He recently demonstrated this by attending the First Day First Show of ‘Vettaiyan’ with fans at a theater in Chennai.
‘Jailer 2’ is expected to begin production after Rajinikanth wraps up ‘Coolie’ with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The filming of ‘Coolie’ was temporarily paused a few weeks ago due to Rajinikanth undergoing surgery, but reports suggest that shooting has now resumed.
