Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated film ‘Amaran’, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, was released on October 31, 2024, in celebration of Deepavali. The movie has been garnering rave reviews from both audiences and critics alike. Notably, Superstar Rajinikanth watched the film, met the team in person, and shared his heartfelt congratulations for their exceptional work.
In the biopic on Major Mukund Varadarajan, Sivakarthikeyan portrays the late Indian Army officer, with Sai Pallavi playing his wife. The film’s production house shared in Tamil that Superstar Rajinikanth watched and deeply admired ‘Amaran’, produced by his dear friend Kamal Haasan, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, and starring Sivakarthikeyan. Rajinikanth also personally called Kamal Haasan to congratulate him on producing such a remarkable film.

Superstar Rajinikanth met ‘Amaran’ director Rajkumar Periasamy, producer R. Mahendran, cinematographer Sai, and actor Sivakarthikeyan. A video of him complimenting the team has since gone viral on social media. Rajinikanth praised Sivakarthikeyan, saying he truly embodied the character in the film.
He said, “This will be Sivakarthikeyan’s best film of his career. Sai Pallavi has also delivered an outstanding performance. I couldn’t control my tears watching the film.”
