Udhaya Keerthi dreams of reaching the stars… literally and figuratively.

Tamil Nadu-born Udhaya Keerthika aspires to be a part of the ISRO team in 2022 as an astronaut and looks up to former ISRO president, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, for inspiration. She has even completed aircraft maintenance engineering in Ukraine and secured a seat in Analog Astronaut training center in Poland. She has been seeking funds to support her training in Poland to enable her dreams of becoming and astronaut.

Thanks to her lucky stars, actor Vijay Sethupathi heard about her inspiring journey and her aspirations. Through his fan club, contacted her and paid INR 8 lakhs (RM47,628) for this training in Poland. The generous actor also wished her well over a phone call as he was away for work. Vijay Sethupathi earned the title Makkal Selvan for his philanthropic work and how much he gives back to society.

Good luck in your training, Udhaya Keerthika!
