Sibiraj had recently started his next movie Walter directed by newcomer Anbarasan. The movie ran into trouble, after producer Singaravelan had claimed that the same director was supposed to direct a movie of the same name in his production, and that he will take legal action against the team.
Anbarasan had started Walter in Singaravelan’s production last year, with Vikram Prabhu, Arjun and Jackie Shroff and as there were delays, he has now started making it with the same title starring Sibiraj,Samuthirakani and Shirin Kanchwala and produced by Prabhu Thilak.
It has been said that the team has now resolved the issue amicably and that Singaravelan has given the title to Prabhu Thilak after talks.
Walter title is inspired by the 90s Sathyaraj movie Walter Vetrivel, said the team, which is currently shooting the crime thriller in Kumbakonam.
