Vijay Sethupathi’s Sindhubaadh may have been delayed, but it is back with a bang, opening today in cinemas across the nation. Two Malaysian actors have starred in the film alongside Makkal Selvan, they are Ganesan Manogharan and Subatra.
Written and directed by S U Arun Kumar, Sindhubaadh is an action thriller that features Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali in the lead. The film will also feature Suriya Vijay Sethupathi, the acclaimed actor’s son. Yuvan Shankar Raaja has composed the music for the film.
Ganesan Manohgaran is a singer and actor. He was the winner of the Malaysian singing competition, Vaanavil Superstar, back in 2010. He has since been mentored by acclaimed Tamil rap artist Dr Burn. Ganesan has also starred in the upcoming local film, Poochandi. The actor has dabbled in theatre and will assay the role of Raavana in the upcoming Tamil play, Surpanaka. Ganesan makes his debut in Indian films with Sindhubaadh.
Subatra is a local actress who has worked on many projects, including the short film Maatram. Sindhubaadh is her first full length feature film. The actress took to social media to post pictures of herself on set, with Vijay Sethupathi and director S U Arun Kumar.
Sindhubaadh has hit the screens today and is showing in all these cinemas.
