The release of Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, was initially set for February 7 but was later rescheduled to February 14. Now, the filmmakers have confirmed that the movie, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, will officially hit theatres on February 21. This adjustment was made to avoid a clash with the highly anticipated Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which is slated for release on February 6.
Vidaamuyarchi was originally scheduled for a Pongal release, but the launch was delayed due to some issues faced by the makers. The trailer, which was released on January 16, 2025, generated a lot of excitement, with its promising content. The trailer also revealed the new release date, much to the excitement of Ajith’s fans.

Pradeep Ranganathan also posted a tweet announcing Dragon’s new release date to avoid a clash with Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi.
