After Boomerang, Atharvaa will be working on yet another film with Kannan. The actor will be pairing up with Anupama Parameswaran in the film, which is billed as a romantic drama.
Kannan confirms the news, and adds, “I think of late, we’ve been making several thrillers and murder mysteries in Kollywood. My last film was also on a serious issue. So, I wanted to break away from that and do a feel-good film. This one will deal with family and relationships, and also be high on romance.”
The film will go on floors this month.
The film will begin shooting from July 15, and major portions will be canned in Chennai.
The team is said to fly either to the US or Australia for one schedule.
The makers said that Atharvaa plays a PhD scholar in the film, and Anupama will be seen as a Bharathnatyam artiste.

Interestingly, Kannan will simultaneously start work on his other film, which stars Santhanam in the lead. “That film will start rolling in August, as soon as Santhanam finishes work on his other projects. The plan is to release both these movies by the year end,” he signs off.
