Soundarya Rajinikanth recently married actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi. The couple, who went on a honeymoon trip to Iceland, has been sharing pictures from their vacation of late.

Soundarya shared a picture with her son; however, she deleted it after some time.

Here’s why! She today took to her twitter handle to share a picture of herself along with her son Ved, where they can be seen posing in a swimming pool.

She captioned it as, ‘Teach them early … and they learn to shine by themselves !!! #Swimming is an essential activity !! #TeachThemYoung #KeepThemActive #WaterFun #EnsureSafetyAlways #NeverLeaveThemAlone #Motherhood #Bliss.”’

However, she soon received a backlash for the same for enjoying in the pool while Chennai is going through severe water scarcity.

Taking cognisance of the same, she immediately deleted the photos.

Removing the picture, she apologised for the same with her fans on the social media. She wrote, ‘Removed the pictures shared in good spirit from my #TravelDiaries considering the sensitivity around the current #WaterScarcity we are facing . The throwback pics were to emphasise the importance for physical activities for children from a young age only #LetsSaveWater.’
