The historic Sri Thandayuthapani Temple in Sentul, renowned for its 100-year legacy, celebrated its grand Maha Kumbabhishegam ceremony yesterday with great devotion and splendor.
Under the esteemed leadership of Sivasri Pitchai Gurukkal from Pillayarpatti, Tamil Nadu, a team of over 20 dedicated priests conducted the sacred Maha Kumbabhishegam ceremony with deep devotion and grandeur.
Established by the Nagarathar community in 1893, this temple held its first Kumbabhishegam ceremony in 1902. Since then, it has witnessed several sacred rituals, with the seventh Maha Kumbabhishegam being magnificently conducted yesterday.
More than 5,000 devotees from various regions gathered at the temple to witness and participate in the sacred Maha Kumbabhishegam ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and spiritual energy as devotees offered prayers, chanted hymns, and took part in the holy rituals.

The grand event was seamlessly organized by the temple administration, led by trustee P.L. Chidambaram Chettiar, chairman S.O.K. Chidambaram Chettiar, as well as the temple secretary and treasurer, M. Meyyappan Chettiar.
