Today, the highly anticipated Pradhana Vizha 2025 is set to take place at the Theatre at Mediacorp, marking their grand 20th anniversary of Singapore’s premier Indian entertainment awards. This year’s event theme is, “Unravelling Dreams”, promises an excellent showcase of talent, glamour and nostalgia as it honours the best in local Indian entertainment with 20 prestigious awards, with many deserving nominees.
The evening starts off with A Golden Walk to Stardom, a dazzling red carpet segment featuring the industry’s biggest stars dressed in their best attires. Adding a special touch to this year’s Pradhana Vizha, attendees will be taken on a nostalgic journey through the history of local Indian entertainment. LED walls along the red carpet will display a collection of the past winners and the memorable moments from the event since its inception in 1996.
The award ceremony will kick off in three different segments, each will reflect a different aspect of the industry’s evolution. The first is, “Legacy and Influence”, a tribute to pioneering artists who have left a lasting impact, including the awardees of the Lifetime Achievement Award. The second segment is “Today’s Triumphs”, celebrating the current talents in acting, music and storytelling. The final one, “Envisioning Tomorrow” will shine a spotlight on the rising stars who shape the future of Indian entertainment. This segment will also feature the much anticipated Most Popular Male Personality and Most Popular Female Personality awards, which fans have been casting their votes for since 1st February.

Meanwhile, the Chief Customer and Corporate Development Officer of Mediacorp, Angeline Poh highlighted the importance of the event.

The red carpet segment will be streamed live on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertaintment on Youtube and Vasantham from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, followed by the main award ceremony from 9pm to 11.45pm on the same platforms. To know who the nominees are visit Mediacorp’s website.
