In conjunction with the festival, Temple Chairman Raman Palaniappan has announced that the special Panguni Uthiram poojas will commence with the flag hoisting(Kodiyetram) on April 1st, which falls tomorrow, and will continue for ten consecutive days. Poojas will be held twice a day, including Sangabishekam and Mahabishekam. He has urged devotees to attend in large numbers and fulfill their vows during this sacred occasion.

He also mentioned that following the special poojas on the morning of April 10th, Lord Murugan will be elegantly adorned in ‘Raaja Alangaaram’ and taken on a grand procession around the inner corridors of the temple.

All the preparations for the festival are well underway to ensure a smooth and grand celebration. Devotees will have the opportunity to offer their vows by carrying milk pots and kavadis without any restrictions, allowing them to express their devotion freely. The temple authorities have made all necessary arrangements, including proper facilities for worshippers, to ensure a comfortable and spiritually fulfilling experience for everyone attending the event.
