Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek stated that over 107 individuals from the education sector have been identified as victims including 5 teachers and 102 students. Additionally, four individuals remain hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the fire.

“We have identified those affected ones and once we’ve gathered and verified all the relevant data, the assistance will be provided as soon as possible”, said Fadhlina during her visit to the temporary relief center at Masjid Putra Heights in Puchong.
The Minister emphasized that the MOE is committed to ensuring the welfare of students and teachers, particularly those from 23 affected schools.
