In exciting news, Dhanush has lent his voice to a special track in Arun Vijay’s upcoming action thriller Retta Thala. Produced by BTG Universal, the film is helmed by director Kris Thirukumaran, known for his work in Gethu and Maan Karate. The news was confirmed through a behind-the-scenes picture that was shared online, showing Dhanush, Arun Vijay and music composer Sam C.S. together in the recording studio. The song is said to be a visually stunning number and will feature scenes shot in international locations, adding a global touch to the film’s musical landscape.
Interestingly, the collaboration between Dhanush and Arun Vijay goes beyond this project. Arun Vijay is also playing a role in Dhanush’s upcoming directional Idly Kadai, starring Nithya Menen, Samuthirakani and Rajkiran.
Retta Thala marks an unique story for Arun Vijay, who will be seen in dual roles. The film promises high octane action sequences and layered narrative with Siddhi Idnani and Tanya Ravichandran cast in important roles. Notably, Kannada actor Yogesh is set to make his Tamil debut as the film’s main antagonist.
Director Thirukumaran brings a wealth of experience from his collaborations with AR Murugadoss on major blockbusters like 7am Arivu, Thuppaki and more. With Retta Thala, he returns to the director’s position after some time of hiatus, aiming to deliver a tightly packed action drama with a touch of emotional depth.
