He shared that the instrumentation, sound mixing style, and emotional core of Kanimaa were carefully designed as a heartfelt tribute to that timeless track. The original, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and sung by Simbu and Suchitra, was a major hit, and Kanimaa gracefully captures that same spirit for today’s audience.
