VJ Siddhu, widely recognized for his popular YouTube content, is set to make his directorial debut with an upcoming film titled Dayangaram. In addition to directing, he will also take on the lead role. The announcement was made by Vels Film International on Friday through a promotional video.

In a press statement, producer Ishari Ganesh described Siddhu as “a natural entertainer and a promising new filmmaker,” adding that he has always been passionate about introducing fresh talent to the industry. He expressed hope that Siddhu would follow in the footsteps of his successful protégés like Pradeep Ranganathan and RJ Balaji. Reflecting on his journey, Siddhu described it as one marked by “hustle, self-doubt, and countless late nights,” and said the opportunity feels like a dream come true. Speaking about Dayangaram, he shared, “It represents me—my humour, my youth, my struggles, and my life.”
VJ Siddhu began his journey as a content creator, and through creativity, dedication, and strong teamwork, his videos steadily gained popularity. Over time, he built a loyal and growing fan base, with many viewers who wouldn’t go a day without watching his vlogs. His transition from content creator to film director marks a remarkable achievement — a true testament to his hard work, passion, and talent.
Further details about the film’s storyline, cast, crew, and release date are expected to be revealed soon. Siddhu was last seen in Dragon, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and Pradeep Ranganathan. His directorial project Dayangaram is currently in the pre-production stage and has yet to begin filming.
