Flights operated by Malaysian airlines to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, are running as scheduled, as operations at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport have resumed following a brief suspension. The airport is fully functional after a temporary closure prompted by the tragic crash of an Air India flight shortly after takeoff.

At present, AirAsia Malaysia runs five flights per week from Kuala Lumpur to Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines offers eight direct flights weekly on the same route.

In a recent update on X, Ahmedabad Airport announced that all flight operations have resumed as normal. The airport advised passengers to stay in touch with their respective airlines and follow official updates for the latest flight information. When contacted by Bernama regarding its flight schedule to Ahmedabad, AirAsia confirmed that it continues to operate flights to and from the city in western India.
