Traffic on three highways and 15 major roads across the Klang Valley will be redirected in stages from July 8 to 11 to accommodate the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) and related events, taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

According to Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director, Datuk Seri Yusri Hassan Basri, the road diversions will affect routes leading into and out of the capital, as well as roads heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and hotels where the delegates will be staying.

He stated that a motorcade dry run would be carried out from today until Sunday, covering routes from the airport to the designated hotels in Kuala Lumpur and the KLCC. The exercise will involve 391 personnel from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT).
