Sekhar Kammula’s social thriller Kuberaa made its streaming debut on Amazon Prime Video today, July 18. Originally released on June 20, the film received widespread praise from both audiences and critics. Dhanush’s portrayal of Deva was especially well-received, earning high acclaim for his powerful performance.
Kuberaa explores the gripping journey of Deva (played by Dhanush), a homeless man caught in the middle of a major financial scam, and Deepak (Nagarjuna), a former CBI officer facing difficult ethical dilemmas. The film also features strong performances from Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in key roles.
Kuberaa is a joint production by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. Filmed as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil, it has also been released in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film features cinematography by Niketh Bommi, a musical score by Devi Sri Prasad, and production design by Thota Tharani.
In Malaysia, Kuberaa was distributed by DMY Creation and received highly positive reviews. Dhanush’s outstanding performance and deep dedication to his role won the hearts of audiences.
