Sisters Vitrikashenie Kulasegaran and Vinikasheinie Kulasegaran have made a remarkable mark in the squash arena with their recent achievement on the international stage. Both talented athletes represented Malaysia at the 6th Bangladesh International Squash Open 2025, held from 26 to 29 July in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

A total of 16 players took part in the tournament, showcasing an impressive display of talent and competitive spirit. Among them, sisters Vinikasheinie Kulasegaran and Vitrikashenie Kulasegaran delivered exceptional performances that set them apart from the rest. Vinikasheinie emerged as the champion, displaying remarkable skill, focus, and determination throughout her matches. Her sister, Vitrikashenie, also put on a strong and inspiring performance, securing the runner-up position. Their outstanding achievements not only highlight their dedication to the sport but also mark a proud moment for the siblings and their supporters.

Vitrikashenie Kulasegaran and Vinikasheinie Kulasegaran are passionate and accomplished squash players who have been making their mark in the sport from a young age, having started playing at just 10 years old. Throughout their junior years, both sisters proudly represented their state and country in numerous local and international tournaments, earning notable victories and recognition. They have also donned Selangor’s colours at SUKMA on two occasions, further cementing their reputation as dedicated and skilled athletes.

In recent years, their sporting journey has taken a slower pace as they prioritise their academic goals. Vitrikashenie is currently pursuing her MBBS at AIMST University, with aspirations of becoming a medical doctor, while Vinikasheinie is studying for her LLB at Multimedia University (MMU), aiming for a career in law. Despite shifting their focus to education, their competitive spirit remains strong — a fact proudly demonstrated by their remarkable success at the recent Bangladesh International Squash Open.
