Tamil school students have consistently pushed boundaries, achieving remarkable success not only within their schools but also on national and international stages. They continue to shine in every field—academics, sports, innovation, and beyond. In that spirit, the students of SJK(T) Slim River have once again proven that Tamil school students are capable of accomplishing anything. On 20th August 2025, the Karnival Semarak Perpaduan Bahasa Melayu Sekolah Rendah Daerah Muallim was held at Murshid Hall from 8am to 5pm, showcasing yet another milestone in their journey of excellence.

This meaningful event was aimed at enhancing the use of the Malay language among students while cultivating confidence, creativity, and effective communication skills. All primary schools across the Muallim district took part, making the carnival a dynamic platform for young learners to showcase their abilities in various language-related competitions.

The carnival featured a wide range of competitions that highlighted students’ linguistic and creative talents. Among them, Linetha from SJK(T) Slim River emerged as the champion in the Malay Storytelling Competition under the SJKT & SJKC category, which was specially designated for Tamil and Chinese primary school students. Meanwhile, Kavisha brought further pride to the school by securing the championship in the Malay Public Speaking Competition, also in the SJKT & SJKC category.

Coming from a Tamil school, the ability of these students to compete on equal footing with their peers from Chinese schools is truly commendable. Their achievements reflect not only their strong command of the Malay language but also their determination, confidence, and willingness to step beyond comfort zones.

With such achievements, Tamil school students continue to demonstrate that they are a force to be reckoned with, capable of excelling in every field they pursue.
