Popular TV host and comedian Jagan will be seen in a pivotal role in Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.

He will be seen as a scientist and it is a very meaty role. Scenes involving him were shot in Bulgaria. Jagan has thus far been seen as a comedian in films such as Ayan, Ko, Paiyaa.

Besides playing the ISRO scientist Nambirajan in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Maddy will be directing it as well. The star has put in a lot of efforts to get into the skin of the character he plays and has done research to ensure that he gets all the facts rights.

The technical crew of this film includes CS Sam for music, Shirsha Ray for cinematography, and Bijith Bala and Sathish Suriya for editing. The film is bankrolled by R. Madhavan, Varghese Moolan and Vijay Moolan under the banners Tricolour Films and Varghese Moolan Pictures.

As he is playing a real-life character in the film, Maddy will be transforming himself to ensure that he fits the role to perfection.

He had released a video that shows his stunning transformation from an overweight to a fit person. And he has done it in 12 days! He also advised the viewers not to opt for abnormal fasting or surgery for the desired results. The star has grown long locks of hair and a beard to play his part. And that is not all!

He had revealed that it takes 14 hours to transform himself into the character he plays.

Nambi Narayanan was a rocket scientist at the ISRO. He was accused of espionage in 1994 and was arrested by the CBI. However, it was proved that he was innocent following which the Kerala government settled the case with a compensation of Rs. 50 lakh.
