Sheraton Hotels and Resort Opens First Johor Bahru Property

Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of hotel brands, has expanded its presence in Malaysia with the opening of Sheraton Johor Bahru, the first of its kind in the city.

The 345-room property is positioned near the Singapore-Johor Bahru Causeway, offering easy access to key attractions such as the Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque, Johor Bahru Old Chinese Temple, and Legoland Malaysia. It is a 45 minute drive from Senai International Airport.

According to Marriott International, the hotel reflects Sheraton’s global transformation strategy, which focuses on community-driven spaces, modern design, and enhanced guest experiences.
