Dhanush is one of the most dedicated actors in South Indian cinema. The actor who just turned 36 yesterday has been known for bringing in so many advancements to the cinema landscape, as he constantly pushes to deliver better stories.

Dhanush will be working on his next film with Durai Senthilkumar and the first look poster was released a few days ago. In a recent interview, Durai Senthilkumar revealed that Dhanush trained in martial arts for his dual role in the film that will also star Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada.

He said, “This film will revolve around a martial art form that was present even before Kalari… something that the Cholargal practised. It will be a commercial as well as an emotional film. Dhanush took some training for the role before we started the project. He spent around 15-20 days on training, and Sneha too attended it. Currently, the shoot is progressing in Chennai. We have around 35 days of shooting left.”

The last film Dhanush and Durai Senthilkumar was political drama ‘Kodi’.
