The much-anticipated film Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan, has been postponed to 18 December 2025. The movie stars rising sensation Pradeep Ranganathan, alongside Krithi Shetty, the ever-charismatic SJ Suryah and more. Initially, the film was scheduled for release on 17 October 2025, as a special Deepavali treat for movie enthusiasts.
Pradeep’s other film, Dude, is also set to release on 17 October, creating a potential “Pradeep vs Pradeep” showdown at the box office.
In a social media press release, 7 Screen Studio, the producers of Love Insurance Kompany, announced that the release has been postponed to avoid clashing with Dude. Since both films feature Pradeep Ranganathan, releasing them on the same day could negatively impact box office collections.
The team had approached Mythri Movies, the producers of Dude, requesting a change in their release date. However, due to unavoidable reasons, the Dude team was unable to accommodate this. As a result, 7 Screen Studio decided to reschedule the release of Love Insurance Kompany to 18 December 2025, ensuring both films get their deserved attention.
