Jason Sanjay, actor Vijay’s son is set to make his directorial debut with ‘Sigma’ and the team has announced that the films is nearly complete with 95% of it’s shoot wrapped up. The action-adventure comedy stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role and is being produced by Lyca Productions.
Lyca Production shared an update on social media, revealing that the film was shot across multiple locations, including Chennai, Salem, Thalakona and Thailand, blending live sets with elaborate production designs. The team completed an intensive 65 day shoot covering almost the entire film schedule.
Speaking about the project, Jason Sanjay said,

The story blends treasure-hunt thrills, heist sequences, and comedy into a high-energy cinematic experience. Thaman’s powerful score, Sundeep Kishan’s dynamic performance, and Lyca’s grand production values have brought immense life to this vision. With only one song left to shoot, we’re gearing up for post-production and an early summer release.”
Lyca Productions CEO Tamil Kumaran praised the young filmmaker’s discipline and vision.

Sigma follows the story of a fearless, independent man who defies conventions while pursuing ambitious dreams. Combining the excitement of a treasure hunt with the tension of a high-stakes heist, the film promises a blend of action, adventure, and humour.
The ensemble cast includes Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Sampath Raj, Kiran Konda, and Magalakshmi Sundharsanan, along with several cameo appearances. The music composer for the film is Thaman.
With post-production already underway and just one song left to film, Sigma is slated for an early summer release, marking an ambitious and exciting start to Jason Sanjay’s directorial journey.
