Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, one of the most versatile actors in the Indian film industry, has won the Australian Tamil International Film Festival award for Best Actor for his performance in the movie Blue Star.
Directed by S. Jayakumar, Blue Star tells the story of a long-standing cricket rivalry between two teams in the town of Arakkonam. In this film, Shanthnu portrays Rajesh, the captain of one of the factions, in a narrative that explores themes of friendship, competition, and small-town identity.
