The World Breastfeeding Week is on till August 7, and many moms, including celebrities have taken to different social media platforms to endorse breastfeeding.
Many of them list out the benefits both the child and mother obtain from it. Amy Jackson is the latest to join the bandwagon.
She tweeted, “It’s World Breast Feeding Week & with the help of my antenatal classes I feel totally prepared to be a breastfeeding mamma! There are so many health benefits for babies, plus beautiful bonding between mother & child. I’ve heard it’s not always smooth sailing but I’m determined!”

Amy Jackson and her fiance George Panayiotou; are still deciding about the venue to tie the knot soon.
Sameera Reddy was another actress who was vocal about the same. The actress, who gave birth to a child on July 12, often used to post pictures of her pregnancy on her social media account. She also spoke about women who have struggled with the problem of low milk production.
Neha Dhupia, who is breastfeeding her eight months old child Mehr, also hit headlines as she spoke about the issues women face while feeding in public.
