Age is no barrier to innovation, as demonstrated by two remarkable teams from SJK (T) Tun Sambanthan in Subang Jaya at the International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) 2025 in Bali, Indonesia. Competing against participants from around the world, these young innovators returned home with two gold medals, bringing pride to their school and community.

The IoT Gas Leak Detector Team

The team consists of four members: Dakshmelan Kumarreshaan, Saswin Goby, Kaaviya Srivaani Prakash, and Vaiysnavaathithan. They presented a smart safety system designed to prevent accidents at home and in industries. Their project showcased not only technological creativity but also emphasized social responsibility and real-world problem solving.

The Eco Fridge Team

Lakshana Devendran, Anshika Shashi Kumar, and Visnavee SM Avicnesvaran impressed the judges with their environmentally friendly cooling concept. Their innovation is a promising example of how young minds contribute to solutions for a sustainable future.

These achievements reflect the talent of our Malaysian Indian students who are growing to be the next generation of scientists and inventors. Their achievements serve as a proud reminder that age is never a limitation when it comes to innovation.
