Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to helm a new film starring Allu Arjun, with production duties handled by Mythri Movie Makers. The announcement was unveiled on the festive occasion of Bhogi, instantly setting social media abuzz.
Tentatively titled #AA23 and #LK7, the project was revealed through a specially crafted animated video shared across the production house’s official platforms. While the announcement kept story details tightly under wraps, it firmly confirmed a pairing that fans and industry watchers have been eagerly speculating about for months.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s frequent visits to Hyderabad in recent times had fuelled strong rumours of a collaboration with the Telugu superstar. Those whispers have now turned into reality, marking a significant crossover between two powerhouses from different film industries. Acknowledging the scale of the project, Mythri Movie Makers described the film as ‘a collaboration that will be eternal in Indian cinema,” while also confirming that shooting is scheduled to begin in 2026.
Adding further weight to the project is the inclusion of Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer. Having previously worked with Lokesh on multiple successful ventures, Anirudh’s association signals a soundtrack that is likely to play a major role in shaping the film’s impact. The makers have also confirmed that the film will be mounted as a pan-Indian release, with plans to release it in multiple languages across the country.
