AirAsia has officially announced a strategic partnership with HYROX APAC, bringing together two brands driven by community, inclusivity, and shared ambition. Spanning more than 15 cities across Asia Pacific, the collaboration aims to make fitness-focused travel more accessible, while strengthening connections within HYROX’s rapidly, expanding regional community, expected to rewatch over 250,000 athletes in 2026.

The partnership positions travel as an enabler of active lifestyles, allowing HYROX athletes, participants and fans to move seamlessly between host cities across Asean and beyond. WAiith AirAsia’s extensive network of over 130 destinations and it’s AirAsia MOVE platform offering flights and accommodation in one place, the collaboration is designed to support athletes not just on race day, but throughout their fitness journeys.

Travel Meets the Fitness Lifestyle

Amanda Woo, Chief Commercial Officer of AirAsia X, said the partnership reflects AirAsia’s long-standing connection with sports and community-driven platforms.

“Sports has always been a huge part of AirAsia’s DNA as we uphold our ‘Dare to Dream’ value. Our partnership with HYROX comes at the right time, as fitness becomes  a global lifestyle movement. Through this collaboration, we can offer seamless travel experiences that bring people closer to the sports they love and the communities they belong to,” she said.

Under the partnership, AirAsia and HYROX will roll out of a series of community-focused initiatives and on-ground activations that go beyond race weekends. AirAsia will also collaborate with selected HYROX Training Club gyms, strengthening engagement with the fitness community year-round.

Key markets supported under the partnership include Osaka, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Incheon, with more destinations across the region to follow. Participants registered for selected HYROX races partnered with AirAsia in 2026 will receive an exclusive 10 per cent discount on flights during a designated booking period, easing travel planning and allowing athletes to focus fully on their experience.

HYROX APAC Managing Director Gary Wan said the collaboration enhances HYROX’s ability to support it’s athletes while expanding it’s footprint across the region.

“HYROX is more than a race, it is a lifestyle built around community, consistency, and shared ambition. Partnering with AirAsia allows us to better support our athletes and fans by making travel more accessible across Asia Pacific, while strengthening our presence in key markets,” he said.
