Drama seems to be following actor Vishal very closely recently.
The Ayogya actor was issued a non-bailable arrest warrant after an income tax raid on his production company, Vishal Film Company, in 2017. The company had failed to remit the TDS deducted from the employees’ salaries for over five years.
The actor failed to appear in court for the hearing and his counsel had argued that the actor never received the summons to be present in court. However, the public prosecutor, M Sheela, filed an acknowledgment for the receipt of the summons by the actor and stated the he failed to appear for the hearing twice.
The case has been adjourned to August 28.
