A sequel to the blockbuster vigilante thriller of the same name, ‘Indian 2’ will see Kamal Haasan returning as the freedom fighter Senapathy.
While the team is set to begin shooting from August 12 and Kamal Haasan will be joining shoot in September, the buzz is that the team is planning to release the film on April 14, 2021 for Tamil new year.
While Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to the play the female lead and also undergone training in Kalaripayattu, an Indian martial art, Priya Bhavani Shankar has also been roped into play one of the female leads in the film. She is expected to join the shooting soon.
The movie also stars Siddharth, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vidyut Jammwal, Rakul Preet Singh while veteran actor Delhi Ganesh is also part of the film.
It’s a well-known fact that Kamal Haasan and Shankar are reuniting after two decades for the upcoming political film ‘Indian 2’, which was formally announced last year. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for the film.
