The relocation of religious statues from Sri Uchimalai Muniswaran Temple, Taman Rawang Perdana, Rawang, Selangor, was completed overnight as part of the preparation for clearing the site.
According to Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar, the relocation process at the Sri Uchimalai Muniswaran Temple began around 9:30 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, and was completed by 4:15 AM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The process involved the participation of 10 devotees and representatives from the temple management who helped move all the religious statues.

The relocation process carried out smoothly without any incident as it was monitored closely by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). The police department has emphasised the need for all parties to respect legal channels and procedures in resolving disputes and warned against actions that could disrupt racial and religious harmony. Authorities also said they would monitor social media for any content related to 3R issues which Religion, Race and Royalty, that might provoke public unease.
The temple had reportedly been constructed on land belonging to a foundation without formal approval, and its relocation is part of a broader agreement among temple management and landowner.
