Last seen in Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar, Keerthy Suresh hasn’t signed any new projects so far in Tamil. Karthik Subbaraj has roped in the actor for his upcoming production venture to be directed by debutant Eshwar.
The actor is currently busy with the heroine-oriented project titled Sakhi. According to sources close to the Sakhi unit, a team of 50 cast and crew has flown to Europe for this schedule.
This schedule will be wrapped up later this month and the team will be returning to complete the rest of the shooting in Hyderabad. Donning the director’s robes for this flick is debutant Narendra Nath while Mahesh S Koneru is bankrolling it under his banner. Reports say that Sakhi is slated for release this Dussehra.
Besides this, she has the Nagesh Kukkunoor directorial in her kitty. Touted to be a female-centric film, Keerthy is sure to have a performance-oriented role in this flick.
Devi Sri Prasad had been roped in to compose the tunes. Reports indicate that Reliance Entertainment will be bankrolling it.
The talented actor will be adding one more film to this impressive line-up. Yes, Keerthy has been signed to play Naga Chaitanya’s lead pair in his upcoming film Bangar Raju. This movie is a sequel to the blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana, which had Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles.
Interestingly, Nagarjuna will also be part of Bangar Raju. Kalyan Krishna, who had directed Soggade Chinni Nayana, will be wielding the megaphone for the sequel too. Nagarjuna will produce it under his own banner Annapurna Studios.
Meanwhile, Keethy Suresh will soon be making her debut in Bollywood. Sources in the know say that the actor is in talks with producer Boney Kapoor and more details about this project are expected to be out soon.
