Actor Vishal recently shared a glimpse of two of his upcoming projects, Magudam and Purushan, giving fans a vision of what to expect from the highly anticipated movies. Bringing it to his social media, Vishal shared a video of his look from Magudam, while confirming that the 1st schedule of the film is completed. He has also shared that the production is now moving into the final schedule.
Magudam holds particular importance for the actor, as it marks his filmmaking debut, after director Ravi Arasu exited the project last year. Earlier it was revealed that the actor has completed an intense 17 day shoot for the climax, which is described as a grand cinematic sequence involving hundreds of artists and nearly 800 crew members, highlighting the film’s technical execution.
The movie has a strong ensemble cast including actress Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu, with GV Prakash composing the music. While the plot remains silent, early looks suggest that Vishal will be seen portraying 3 important characters. Alongside Magudam, Vishal is also working on Purushan, which reunites him with director Sundar C, and composer Hip Hop Tamizha after their collaboration in Aambala. The film stars actress Tamannah and Yogi Babu, continuing a series of successful collab between the actor and the director. Purushan is expected to be an action-comedy, catering on a seemingly gentle husband who conceals a more aggressive side from his wife, blending humor with action-driven storytelling.
With both of the major projects is steadily progressing, Vishal appears set for a dynamic phase in his career, balancing large-scale filmmaking with commercial entertainers, while stepping into more creative roles.
